Echoport ILO 292

Otodynamics
Advanced Computer-Based OAE Measurement System for highest Research and Clinical Precision

The Otodynamics Echoport ILO 292 is a high-performance, PC-connected OAE system designed for comprehensive clinical assessment of cochlear function. Connecting via USB to a laptop or desktop, it delivers the full power of ILO V6 Clinical software and EZ-Screen in a compact and portable package—ideal for audiology clinics, hospitals, and research labs.

Offering both TEOAE and DPOAE measurements using a single probe, the Echoport ILO 292 system provides detailed diagnostic insights with flexible testing parameters, customizable stimuli, and high-resolution data displays. It is the go-to system for professionals who demand accuracy, depth, and reliability in OAE testing.

The Echoport ILO 292 is widely used in audiology and neuroscience research thanks to flexibility, versatility and data handling cababilities. Check our publications to see how and where the Echoport is being used in research.

Echoport ILO 292-I vs. 292-II Models

Model Description Key Differences
292-I (ILO292 I) The Echoport 292-I is a powerful, gold-standard solution designed to meet the highest clinical demands. It offers a comprehensive range of OAE tests, including TEOAE, DPOAE, SOAE, and DP Growth. Unilateral TEOAE and DPOAE recordings only.
292-II (ILO292 II) The Echoport 292-II dual probe builds on the capabilities of the 292-I, adding bilateral TEOAE and DPOAE recordings along with Contralateral Suppression for enhanced diagnostic performance. Bilateral TEOAE and DPOAE recordings with contralateral suppression.

Note: Both models support the same core clinical OAE features and use the same V6 Clinical software, but 292-II is preferred for new users due to USB compatibility and updated hardware.

Applications

  • Diagnostic Audiology Clinics
  • ENT and Otology Practices
  • Newborn Hearing Assessment
  • Research and Academic Use
