The MP200 System is a modular, high-performance data acquisition and analysis platform designed for advanced life science research. Combined with AcqKnowledge software, it provides a comprehensive solution for physiological signal recording, real-time visualization, and automated data analysis.

The MP200 System allows for connecting and measuring a myriad of different biosignals no matter the requirements. These modules record biosignals either wired, wireless or even in an MRI environment!

Complete, Flexible Setup for Life Science Research

Each MP200 Data Acquisition Workstation includes:

  • MP200 Ethernet-ready data acquisition unit
  • AcqKnowledge data analysis software
  • USB-to-Ethernet adapter (ETHUSB)
  • All required cables and setup guides

Researchers can start collecting and analyzing physiological signals out of the box and tailor the system with additional amplifiers, transducers, and electrodes to suit their specific research protocols.

High-Speed, Multi-Channel Data Acquisition

The MP200 system supports multi-channel recording with independent sample rates, making it ideal for complex experimental designs.

  • Up to 100 kHz per channel,
  • 1.6 MHz aggregate sample rate

The system integrates seamlessly with BIOPAC’s full range of amplifiers and transducers and can also interface with third-party lab equipment. Multiple MP200 units can be placed on a local area network (LAN) for distributed, synchronized recording across research environments.

AcqKnowledge Software – Real-Time Acquisition and Analysis

AcqKnowledge is a powerful, intuitive software suite that enables researchers to:

  • Record, view, and analyze physiological data in real time
  • Apply online and offline filters, transformations, and statistical analysis
  • Customize data displays (Chart, Scope, X/Y, FFT, Histogram, Overlapped Segments)
  • Export data and generate reports quickly and efficiently

The software supports interactive menus and dialog-driven commands, removing the need for scripting or programming to perform complex operations.

Includes a 2-user license for AcqKnowledge; site license options are available for multi-system environments.

Modular Design for Custom Research Workflows

To build a system aligned with your research design:

  1. Start with a base MP200 Starter System
  2. Add amplifier modules, transducers, and electrodes based on the signals and measurements required

The system supports research across diverse areas, including:

  • Human and animal ECG/EEG/EMG/EDA
  • Cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological studies
  • Behavioral and cognitive neuroscience

Networked Acquisition and Cloud Integration

MP200 systems can be networked, enabling any computer on the LAN to record from any connected MP200 unit.
A trial of the AcqKnowledge Cloud Study Management tool is included, offering data storage, study organization, and remote data access.
