The BioNomadix Smart Center is a compact, stand-alone solution for high-quality, wireless physiological data acquisition. Designed for USB power, the Smart Center device connects directly to your computer and allows for simultaneous recording from up to three dual-channel BioNomadix wireless transmitters, offering a total of up to nine physiological data channels. These channels can include EEG, ECG, EMG, EOG, respiration, electrodermal activity, goniometry, gastic signals, and even heel-toe strike detection, depending on your chosen transmitters.
Smart Center Essentials is the entry-level configuration, including the Smart Center device with USB cable, two or three BioNomadix transmitters with chargers, the AcqKnowledge for Smart Center software, and a durable transport case.
Smart Center Enhanced expands on this by adding a BioNomadix Logger, enabling untethered data logging with built-in acceleration and optional GPS integration. It also includes a Basic Scripting License, empowering you to automate data collection and analysis workflows for greater efficiency and repeatability.
The Logger can record from up to three transmitters and log GPS-positioned physiological data, making it ideal for behavioral and mobile studies where location context is critical.
The included AcqKnowledge for Smart Center software features a user-friendly wizard that guides researchers through setup, signal detection, data acquisition, and guided signal analysis. The software allows for real-time monitoring of battery levels, signal quality, and transmitter connectivity. AcqKnowledge supports both live feedback and post-hoc data review, with multiple display options—scope, chart, FFT, histogram, and more.
