Compumedics
Advanced EEG/MEG Source Analysis & Multimodal Neuroimaging Platform

CURRY 9 is Compumedics Neuroscan’s state-of-the-art software suite for comprehensive analysis of EEG and MEG data, integrating source localization, multimodal imaging, and high-density data processing in a single, unified environment. Designed for clinical and research applications, CURRY 9 empowers neuroscientists, clinicians, and neurophysiologists with advanced tools to visualize, interpret, and report complex brain activity with exceptional accuracy and clarity.

Whether for epilepsy pre-surgical evaluation, functional mapping, or cognitive neuroscience studies, CURRY 9 offers unmatched precision and performance, drawing on decades of experience in neuroimaging innovation.

CURRY supports EEG data acquisition with SynAmps 2/RT, Siesta, NuAmps, Neuvo, Grael, and E-Series amplifiers. Each amplifier has its own set-up image to ensure ease of use in setting the system. Stream live to Matlab or via TCP/IP protocol (listener CURRY, Matlab, custom software), suitable for Brain Computer Interface (BCI) and related applications. CURRY 8 data files are fully compatible with EEGLAB.

CURRY 9 is compatible with modern Windows systems and optimized for high-performance workstations.

Software Features

  • High-Density EEG/MEG Source Analysis
Perform advanced source localization using a range of inverse solutions, including dipole modeling and distributed source models, with millisecond temporal and millimeter spatial resolution.
  • Multimodal Imaging Integration
Seamlessly combine EEG/MEG with MRI, CT, PET, and fMRI data. Coregister and visualize anatomical and functional data in 2D and 3D views for comprehensive brain mapping.
  • Automatic Cortical Surface Extraction
Import anatomical MRI data and automatically generate 3D cortical surface models for source localization and visualization.
  • Event-Related Potential (ERP) and Time-Frequency Analysis
Analyze evoked responses, perform spectral decomposition, and conduct statistical analyses directly within the platform.
  • Clinical Application Support
Ideal for epilepsy surgery planning, presurgical functional mapping, and evaluation of abnormal brain activity.
  • Real-Time Data Review and Processing
Use powerful review tools with advanced filtering, artifact correction (e.g., ICA), and dynamic event markers.
  • User-Friendly Workflow
Step-by-step wizards, intuitive controls, and customizable pipelines support efficient navigation from raw data to final report.

Applications

  • Pre-surgical epilepsy evaluation
  • Cognitive neuroscience research
  • Functional brain mapping
