The DSI-24 from Wearable Sensing is a dry electrode EEG system offering research-grade signal quality in a wireless, easy-to-use form factor. Designed for fast setup and exceptional comfort, the DSI-24 is ideal for researchers conducting studies in dynamic environments—from VR and AR labs to real-world settings outside the traditional lab.

With 19 dry EEG electrodes, 2 earclip references, and 3 auxiliary inputs, the DSI-24 provides full-head coverage along with integrated support for biosignals such as ECG, EMG, EOG, respiration, and more. Its 8-bit trigger input ensures reliable synchronization with external hardware including eye trackers, motion capture systems, and stimulus presentation software.

Whether used for neuroergonomics, brain-computer interfaces, neuromarketing, or cognitive neuroscience, the DSI-24 empowers researchers with a fast, mobile, and uncompromised EEG platform.

The system comes as a package and includes:

System Features

  • Research-Grade Dry EEG: Over 90% signal correlation with traditional wet EEG systems. The patented Dry Sensor Interface (DSI) technology delivers high-fidelity signals without gels or skin prep.
  • Wireless and Fully Mobile: All electronics—including amplifiers, digitizers, wireless transmitters, battery, and onboard storage—are built into the headset, creating a true wearable EEG system.
  • Rapid Setup in Under 3 Minutes: Quick to don and adjust, even on thick, curly, or long hair. Designed to minimize preparation time and maximize experimental throughput.
  • Comfortable for Long Sessions: Adjustable straps, padded interior, and low-profile sensors allow the DSI-24 to be worn for up to 8 continuous hours.
  • Motion and Electrical Artifact Resistance: Patented common-mode follower circuitry and a built-in Faraday cage provide artifact rejection without sacrificing mobility.
  • Integrated Auxiliary Sensor Support: 3 aux inputs support simultaneous recording of ECG, EMG, EOG, GSR, RESP, and temperature sensors, all time-synchronized within the DSI-Streamer software.
  • Synchronized Data & Triggers: 8-bit trigger input enables tight integration with external equipment. Event timing and synchronization are maintained throughout.
  • Flexible Data Access: Includes DSI-Streamer software (free and unlimited licenses) for real-time monitoring and recording to .CSV and .EDF formats. Also includes a free API (C-based .dll) for custom applications on Windows, macOS, Linux, and ARM platforms.
  • QStates Cognitive Classification: Optional QStates software offers machine learning-based classification of cognitive states such as mental workload, engagement, and fatigue, based on DSI EEG data.
  • Quick Cleaning and Reuse: Electrodes clean in under 1 minute using isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush. Dry and ready for reuse within minutes.
