The SIENNA Ultimate from EMS Biomedical sets a new benchmark in electrophysiological signal acquisition, combining unmatched resolution, advanced communication features, and exceptional flexibility. As the first amplifier on the market to offer 32-bit resolution with 1 MHz sampling frequency using Successive Approximation Register (SAR) technology, it delivers an extraordinary signal resolution of 50 pV per bit, making it an ideal tool for both clinical and research-grade EEG and LTM applications.
Engineered for the most demanding environments, the SIENNA Ultimate ensures precise and reliable electrophysiological recordings. The 32-bit architecture captures even the smallest fluctuations in brain activity, while SAR-based sampling at 1 million samples per second guarantees accurate temporal resolution—essential for detecting fast neural events such as spikes and seizures.
With real-time acquisition and bidirectional communication, users can monitor patient data live and respond dynamically. The system also supports real-time spike and seizure detection, ensuring immediate insights during long-term monitoring or diagnostic procedures.
The SIENNA Ultimate is equipped with integrated WiFi and LAN capabilities as standard, offering flexible and stable data transmission options across clinical or research environments. When temporarily out of range, the amplifier stores data locally and automatically transmits it once the connection is re-established—ensuring data integrity at all times.
Weighing just 190 grams, the compact amplifier includes thoughtful features such as a built-in patient alarm button and a body position sensor, making it suitable for ambulatory or in-hospital long-term monitoring.
The system is highly modular and can be tailored to suit various applications. It supports different headbox configurations, including setups for LTM (long-term monitoring), sleep studies, 10/20 EEG, and numerical mapping. Changing between configurations is simple—just swap the headbox to adapt the system to your current needs.
Designed with future-proof scalability in mind, the SIENNA Ultimate is expandable to 192 channels through the use of three 64-channel modules, allowing users to scale their system as requirements evolve.
