Compumedics
Ambulatory Recorder for Comprehensive Physiological Monitoring

The Compumedics Somté is a versatile, holter-style ambulatory recording system designed for comprehensive, multi-channel monitoring of respiratory, cardiac, neurological, and other physiological signals in both research and clinical environments. Compact and lightweight, Somté enables extended monitoring in natural environments—whether at home, in a sleep lab, or during daily activity—without compromising on signal quality or recording flexibility.

Built on Compumedics’ decades of experience in biosignal acquisition, Somté combines advanced sensor technology, intelligent data acquisition, and automated analysis in a compact, user-friendly design. The system supports up to 13 physiological signals across 8 configurable channels, allowing researchers and clinicians to tailor recordings to their specific needs—from sleep and respiratory studies to ECG, PLM (Periodic Limb Movement), and body position tracking.

A high-resolution LCD screen and intuitive three-button interface make the Somté easy to operate for both users and subjects. Data is stored on a removable Compact Flash card, with up to 30 hours of battery-powered recording using standard AA batteries. All raw waveforms are recorded and can be reviewed in user-defined formats, giving full control over data interpretation and post-processing.

With integrated sensors for nasal pressure, SpO₂, ECG, snore detection, respiratory effort, and pulse waveform, Somté provides a powerful, portable solution for collecting high-quality physiological data in ambulatory settings.
